Quincy Senior Braylon Estlow earned a spot in next weekend’s MHSAA Division 3 Boys Golf State Finals at Bedford Valley, finishing seventh overall at the regional tournament with a round of 78. Estlow was one of only three golfers from non-qualifying teams to advance to the state finals. Behind Estlow’s top-10 performance, Quincy placed seventh overall in the Lower Peninsula Division 3 regional with a team score of 342. Senior Bo Tissue, junior Jax Sergent and freshman Carson Craven each carded rounds of 88 for the Orioles, while senior Codin Ayerdi added a 105 to round out the team scoring. Quincy competed well in a strong regional field, finishing ahead of several teams. Estlow’s big round and the Orioles’ balanced team effort highlighted a competitive day for Quincy golf.
