Quincy High School

Quincy Varsity Softball enters the 2026 season with high expectations as the Orioles look to contend for the top spot in the Big 8 Conference. There is also plenty of excitement surrounding the program as Quincy will bring back its JV team coached by Brittany Bailey & Payton Gross after a two-year absence thanks to a strong number of players at the high school level. The Orioles boast strong depth at the pitcher and catcher positions and feature a roster filled with versatile, athletic players. Quincy will also rely on a wave of young talent, with around 10 freshmen expected to contribute across both the varsity and JV teams. While the roster will be young in several areas, the coaching staff will look to its group of seniors and juniors to help set the tone. Their attitude, effort, and competitive drive will help establish the standard for the energetic underclassmen as the Orioles aim to build a strong and successful season.
